Lisa JacksonPMA®-CPT, Faculty (Australia)

    Lisa is a certified Pilates instructor through PhysicalMind® Institute in America and through Australia’s PilatesITC under the leadership of Sally Anderson with whom she completed her Diploma and Advanced Diploma. She initially began her Pilates journey while living in Los Angeles and discovered firsthand the mental and physical benefits of Pilates after undergoing major arm surgery for a malignant melanoma. Lisa is a faculty member for PilatesITC and is the founder of Core Pilates Brisbane, the main training centre for PilatesITC students in Queensland. She is also a certified Oov teacher and was the Brisbane Pilates Trainer for Cirque du Soleil – Totem in 2015. Lisa is a Principal Trainer member with the Pilates Alliance Australasia, and as Buff Bones® Faculty Instructor for Australia, she works across the country to grow and support the Buff Bones network of instructors.

     

    Why I teach the weekly class:

    The class is fun, energetic and really leaves people feeling good about themselves, this is what I love so much about it. It is different from teaching Pilates and allows me to reach and connect with a wider range of clients who would not necessarily take a Pilates mat class.
